The moose sculpture was created by Christina Nick who has two painting and sculpture studios, one in south west France and another in south west Canada.
The moose sculpture represents the natural world’s role sustaining fishing settlements in remote coastal locations in Newfoundland and Labrador. Christina participated in Fishers' Loft Inn’s artist in residence program demonstrating the process of creating the metal sculpture for the inn’s guests and local residents.
