The artwork is a true masterpiece that showcases the history and heritage of our beloved community. It was lovingly painted directly on the Stanley Ford Property and Outbuildings tourism site, on the original clap boards of the old Sheep Shed. This shed and home, built around 1946, has been preserved as a local Heritage site, along with other sheds, outbuildings, and the home itself. To make this artwork even more special, a beautiful ladder frame was handcrafted by the man who built the home, to showcase a 'Window Through Time'. Each window depicts a painting that represents a past life and time when the building was active and lived in. The sepia/greyscale gradient of color choices adds to the vintage charm, making it a truly breathtaking sight. This outdoor mural is one of two on the property and is sure to catch the eye of anyone who visits our community. Whether you're stopping by for a quick tour or enjoying a leisurely walk, this artwork is a must-see. It was created as part of a program in our community, and was designed to showcase the rich heritage of the area. We're proud to say that this artwork is a true representation of our community's past, present, and future.
